It’s with indescribable heartache I share with you that my Nani passed away

on December 1st, 2016

She passed in my arms under the care and incredible compassion of the doctors and staff

at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley here in San Diego, California.

Nani was 12 years and 9 months old. 

Nani changed my life and the lives of so many in ways too numerous to mention here.

My house, like my heart, is so empty now.

I already miss her so much.

We have two (2) Bernese Mountain Dogs

and we had five (5) more Bernese Mountain Dogs

staying with us over the weekend.......

So......

We decided to see how many Bernese Mountain Dogs could fit in a Fiat 500. Well, all seven (7) fit and I think we had room for more.

Nani - Surf Dog Hall of Fame

Nani was officially inducted into the Surf Dog Hall of Fame

on Sunday, September 8th, 2012.

She was on the second dog to be inducted into

the Surf Dog Hall of fame in the last 8 years.

Nani officially retired from competitive Dog Surfing in

September of 2012.

Buddy the Jack Russell Terrier

 from Venture California was inducted in 2011.

Nani is officially retired from Competitive Dog Surfing, but....

she still loves to surf and is still active in supporting

the Helen Woodward Animal Center in the background.

SoCal Surf Dogs Nani & Louie went to Dog Beach in Del Mar on Saturday for a fun morning of surfing. The waves were small but the sun did come out!
